Are you a certified KonMari consultant?

Yes. I first became a certified KonMari consultant in a Japanese programme, then later obtained the international certification. You can find me in the consultants’ directory on the official KonMari website.

What is the KonMari method?

The KonMari Method™ was created by a Japanese tidying expert, Marie Kondo who is an author of the international best-selling book, “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up” that sold over 10 million copies worldwide. She is also a star of Netflix’s hit show “Tidying Up with Marie Kondo”. More information can be found here.

How long is each tidying lesson?

Each tidying lesson typically takes 2~5 hours depending on the size of your house, the number of belongings you have and the speed of decision making. Less than 5 hours is generally recommended so you don’t become too exhausted.

How many tidying lessons do I need?

On average, you will need 3~6 tidying lessons to complete all five categories – clothing, books, papers, miscellaneous items(komono) and sentimental items. With the KonMari method, it is recommended to follow the right order of the categories so it helps to refine your sensitivity to what brings you joy as you progress through the categories.

However, we can make a custom tidying package that will suit your needs.


What does "spark joy" mean?

“Spark Joy” is an English translation of the Japanese word “Tokimeku”, which is used by Marie Kondo when you pick up an item and feel a positive emotional feeling towards the item.

What is your service area?

In-home consulting is offered to clients in Wellington (Wellington, Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt, Porirua, Kapiti). Virtual consulting is offered worldwide.

Do you charge a travel fee?

Travel to locations further than 15km radius will incur a 77 cent per Km mileage fee.

Payment Terms & Conditions

Payment is required on or before the date of service. Payment to be made Internet Banking or Credit card.

What is the cancellation policy?

In order to receive a full refund, each client must cancel 48 hours before the booking date. Cancellations made between 24-48 hours will receive a 50% refund, and no refunds will be accepted with less than 24 hours notice.
